CGKV has different entrance exams for each of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The CGKV CET must be taken by the student before they can be admitted to the institute. There are 15 specializations offered by CGKV Raipur, as well as 12 specializations offered by the doctoral program, in addition to the UG courses. Students must have passed UG Degree examinations to enrol in PG-level programs. 

CGKV Chhattisgarh Admission:

• UG Courses: Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya offers BVSc & AH, BTech Dairy Technology and BFSc at the UG level. The eligibility for admission is passing 10+2 with 50% marks.
• PG Courses: PG programs of CGKV are MVSc(15 specializations) and M.Tech(5 Specializations). The minimum criteria are having a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Diploma, Certificate: The diploma programs offered by this university are DAH, DVP, DF, DLPT and DDT. Certificate programs offered in CAI, CDFM, CPPM & MVS, etc

Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)

Students completing the XII class Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English stream (achieving 50% marks in these subjects overall) are admitted to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.& A.H.) undergraduate programme by merit lists of state-level competitive examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board.

Admission, for every given transmitted by the Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya, has a specified exam for a particular course. Applicants need to pass the entrance exams on the national level. While on the other hand, some courses test administered by the university.

The course duration is 4 years which is splintered up 8 semesters. The BTech offered specialization in Dairy Science and Food Technology. the admisison is based on the merit list of common entrance tests for the State level. B.Tech Admission Candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board. the course fee is between INR 1lakh to INR 4lakh per year. 

Kamdhenu University BFSc Admission

Candidates who want to do a BFSc in Fisheries Science will need a 12th standard certificate with 50% marks overall.

Kamdhenu University Ph.D. Admission 2024-25

This course is 3-6 years long. The university offers a Ph.D. program in various specializations. The eligibility criteria for this course:

• A CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 at the Master’s level.
• Marks equal to the CGPA mentioned above.
• 6.00 CGPA for SC/ST/CAT-I candidates.
