OSOU Assignments and Exams
- The university follows a credit-based system. Students have to cover a total of 32 credits to pass each program. For the Diploma course, students have to obtain 16 credits.
- Students must pass the courses given within the program duration. The duration for diploma programs is a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 4 years, and for certificate programs the duration is 6 months to 1 year.
- Semester-based system is being followed, which lasts for 6 months for each semester. The student’s performance will be evaluated for each semester.
- Assignments are compulsory for every course. Students must score equally well in assignments and exams. Weightage for both is distributed as 25% for assignments and 75% for exams. The final marks are based on both these criteria.
