CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG 2024 conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) was scheduled to take place between 15 May to 31 May 2024, but as India is getting all set to elect its 18th Lok Sabha through General elections, the exam dates of CUET UG may be impacted.
The application process for CUET UG 2024 started on 27 February and will conclude on 26 March 2024. The exam’s tentative date and result declaration date have been released officially by NTA. However, keeping the upcoming election in mind, it may be changed soon.
“CUET UG 2024: Examination schedule likely to be changed depending on Lok Sabha poll date”, says UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar.
Furthermore, if you look at the previous exam dates, CUET UG 2023 was scheduled from 21 May to 23 June 2024. However, the scenario of an election or any other important event was in the picture then.
The NTA has made the declaration of the exam being in hybrid mode an official announcement. Students are advised to stay updated on the official website of CUET for any information in the future.
